Ingredients

Method
1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is soft.
3. Stir in the chopped broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables. Mix well, then gradually add the vegetable broth while stirring.
5. Once the soup thickens, reduce heat and stir in the milk and shredded cheese. Cook until the cheese melts.
