Ingredients
– 8 hot dog sausages
– 4 slices of bread
– 1 cup of grated cheese
– 4 tablespoons of barbecue sauce
– 4 teaspoons of mustard
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 1 tablespoon of olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 4 tablespoons of chopped parsley
– 1 cup of coleslaw (optional)
Method
1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until soft and golden.
2. Cook the hot dog sausages in the same pan until they are heated through.
3. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
4. Spread barbecue sauce on each slice of bread. Then, place a sausage on top and add mustard.
5. Top with sautéed onions, grated cheese, and parsley. Serve with coleslaw if you like.
