Ingredients
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup warm water
– 2 tablespoons sugar
– 1 tablespoon salt
– 1 tablespoon instant yeast
– 1/4 cup canola oil
– 1 beaten egg
– 1/2 cup melted butter
– 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
– 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Method
1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Wait for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Then pour in the yeast mixture, canola oil, and beaten egg. Stir everything together until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
4. Roll out the dough into strips and shape them into bows. Arrange them on a baking tray and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame and poppy seeds on top.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
