Delicious Blue Cheese Panna Cotta With Spiced Poached Pear Recipe

Ingredients

– 250 ml cream
– 100 ml milk
– 100 g blue cheese, crumbled
– 2 sheets gelatin
– 100 g sugar
– 1 tsp lemon juice
– 2 pears, peeled and halved
– 500 ml water
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

1. In a saucepan, heat the cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add crumbled blue cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
3. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes, then add them to the warm mixture. Stir until fully dissolved.
4. Pour the mixture into serving glasses. Chill them in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
5. To prepare the pears, combine water, vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Poach pears in this mixture for 15 minutes until tender. Serve with panna cotta.
