Ingredients
- 1 can (400 g) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Add black beans, bananas, cocoa powder, vanilla, baking powder, and salt to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Pour in honey or maple syrup and blend again until everything is mixed well.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts if using. Mix with a spatula until evenly combined.
- Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set. Let cool before cutting into squares.
