Ingredients
500 g beef steak, thinly sliced
60 ml soy sauce
30 ml mirin
30 ml rice vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 spring onion, chopped
1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan or grill over medium-high heat.
4. Cook the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes on each side or until it is fully cooked, depending on thickness.
5. Sprinkle with chopped spring onion and sesame seeds before serving.
