Ingredients

  • 500g beef (thinly sliced)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 cups cooked rice (to serve)

Method

  1. Begin by mixing soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Stir well to combine.
  2. Place the sliced beef in this marinade. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef, cooking until it is browned.
  4. Add the chopped green onions and sesame seeds to the pan. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the bulgogi hot over a bed of cooked rice.
