Ingredients
- 500g beef (thinly sliced)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice (to serve)
Method
- Begin by mixing soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Stir well to combine.
- Place the sliced beef in this marinade. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef, cooking until it is browned.
- Add the chopped green onions and sesame seeds to the pan. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the bulgogi hot over a bed of cooked rice.
