Delicious Baked Pears Recipe: Easy, Healthy Dessert Idea

Ingredients

– 4 medium ripe pears
– 1 cup water
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g. walnuts or almonds)
– Optional: 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
– Optional: Greek yogurt or ice cream for serving

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the pears in half and scoop out the cores.
2. Place the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish. Pour the water into the bottom of the dish.
3. In a small bowl, mix honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture over the pears.
4. Sprinkle chopped nuts and dried fruit on top of the pears if using.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pears are tender. Serve with yogurt or ice cream if desired.
