Ingredients
– 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
– 200 g cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup grated cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
– 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, for garnish
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Use gloves if needed to avoid burning your hands.
3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, grated cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
4. Spoon the mixture into the jalapeño halves. Place them on the prepared baking tray.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are soft and the cheese is bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
