Apple Pie Recipe
Ingredients
– 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 1 package pie crusts (2 crusts)
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tablespoon milk
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
2. Mix apple slices, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour in a bowl.
3. Roll out one pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the apple mixture.
4. Place the second pie crust over the filling. Seal the edges and make a few slits on top for steam.
5. Brush the top with egg mixed with milk. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
