Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon together.
- Add the eggs, milk, and oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined but don’t overmix.
- Fold in the diced apples and walnuts if using. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool before slicing.
