Ingredients

– 500 ml apple cider
– 250 ml heavy cream
– 250 ml milk
– 150 g sugar
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 4 egg yolks
– Optional: caramel sauce for topping

Method

1. In a saucepan, combine the apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, salt, cream, milk, and vanilla extract.
