Ingredients
– 120 g (1 cup) almond flour
– 100 g (1/2 cup) sugar
– 2 large egg whites
– 1/4 tsp almond extract
– 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
– A pinch of salt
– Icing sugar, for dusting
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Whisk together the almond flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they are frothy. Then add the almond extract and vanilla extract.
4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ones until everything is well combined.
5. Form small balls with your hands and place them on the baking tray. Dust each ball with icing sugar. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a light golden color appears.
