Ingredients
– 500 g scallops, cleaned
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– 1 lemon, juiced
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– Optional: cocktail sauce, for serving
Method
1. Start by patting the scallops dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up nicely.
2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the scallops and gently toss until they are well coated.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. Arrange the scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
4. Cook for about 8 minutes, turning halfway through. They should be golden and cooked through.
5. Once done, drizzle lemon juice over scallops and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with cocktail sauce if desired.
