Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup coconut sugar
1 packet instant yeast (7g)
½ tsp salt
¾ cup almond milk
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
3 tbsp maple syrup
4 tbsp coconut sugar (for filling)
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup walnuts, chopped
Method
Heat almond milk slightly until warm.
Mix flour, coconut sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
Stir in warm milk, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until it forms a dough.
Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth, then let it rise for about 1 hour.
Roll out dough, sprinkle with cinnamon, coconut sugar, and walnuts, then roll tightly and slice into buns.
