Ingredients
– 125 g unsalted butter
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3 ripe bananas
– 1/4 cup plain yogurt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Mix in the browned butter, sugar, yogurt, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Slowly add the dry mix to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
5. If using, fold in the nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
