Ingredients
– 1 cup strong coffee, cooled
– 250 ml mascarpone cheese
– 300 ml cream
– 1/2 cup dulce de leche
– 1/2 cup milk
– 12 ladyfinger biscuits
– Cocoa powder for dusting
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– A pinch of salt
– Optional: chocolate shavings for garnish
Method
1. Start by making some strong coffee and let it cool.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, dulce de leche, vanilla extract, and salt.
3. Whip the cream in another bowl until soft peaks form, then gently fold the cream into the cheese mixture.
4. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and layer them in a dish. Spread half the cream mixture on top. Repeat the layers.
5. Cover the dessert and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Before serving, dust cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings if desired.
