Ingredients
– 1 unbaked pie crust
– 1 cup corn syrup
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups pecans, chopped
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips
– 1 tablespoon melted butter
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the unbaked pie crust on a pie dish.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
3. Stir in the chopped pecans and melted butter. Then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust evenly.
5. Bake the pie for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
