Ingredients
– 2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 cup of milk
– 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
– 2 large eggs
– 2 teaspoons of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 1 cup of chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup of nuts, optional
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan or line it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
3. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Stir until blended, then fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
