Ingredients
250 g penne pasta
500 g minced beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
400 g diced tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato sauce
300 ml beef stock
2 cups shredded cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the minced beef until browned. Stir regularly to break it up.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for a few minutes until onions are soft.
Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef stock. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
Mix in the cooked pasta, oregano, cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes until cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
