Ingredients
– 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
– 4 medium potatoes, diced
– 6 strips of bacon, chopped
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 250 ml chicken broth
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– ½ teaspoon paprika
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method
1. Begin by cooking the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside.
2. In the same skillet, add olive oil, then toss in the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until soft.
3. Add the diced potatoes to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
4. Cook for approximately 10 minutes until the potatoes start to become tender. Next, add the chopped cabbage and mix everything together.
5. Cover the skillet and cook on low heat for another 10-15 minutes until all the vegetables are soft. Finally, stir in the bacon and serve warm.
