– 1 carrot, diced
– 1 zucchini, diced
– 1 cup of frozen peas
– 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
– Pepper to taste
Method
1. Start by rinsing the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, then sauté until soft.
3. Add the diced carrot and zucchini. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour in the water and rice. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Once the rice is tender, add frozen peas, soy sauce, and pepper. Stir well and heat through before serving.
