Ingredients

– 1 cup rolled oats
– ½ cup peanut butter

– 1 cup jam
– ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
– ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
– Pinch of salt
– 2 cups puffed rice cereal
– Extra jam for spreading (optional)

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking dish with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, sugar, honey, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
3. Stir in the jam, nuts, and vanilla extract until everything is mixed together, then gently fold in the puffed rice cereal.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly.
5. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely, then cut into bars and serve.
