Baked Brie With Jam: Easy Recipe For A Delicious Appetizer

Ingredients

– 1 round of Brie cheese (around 200g)
– ½ cup of fruit jam (like raspberry or apricot)
– 1 sheet of puff pastry
– 1 egg (for egg wash)
– A handful of fresh thyme leaves
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Crackers or sliced baguette (for serving)
– Optional: sliced almonds for topping
– Optional: honey for drizzling

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it is large enough to wrap around the Brie.
3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry. Spread the jam over the top of the cheese, then sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Fold the pastry over the Brie, sealing it well to avoid leaks. Brush the outside with the beaten egg.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
