Ingredients
– 450 g asparagus
– 200 g bacon
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt (to taste)
– Pepper (to taste)
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (optional)
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with foil for easy cleanup.
2. Wash the asparagus and trim off the tough ends.
3. Wrap a slice of bacon around each asparagus spear. Place them on the baking tray.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the wrapped asparagus. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on top.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Optionally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
