Ingredients
– 600 g potatoes
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon ajwain seeds
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 2 green chilies, finely chopped
Method
1. Start by boiling the potatoes until they are tender. Let them cool, then peel and cube them.
2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin and ajwain seeds. Sauté for a few seconds until they start to sizzle.
3. Put the cubed potatoes into the pan. Stir well to coat them with the spices.
4. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix everything together and cook for around 5 minutes.
5. Finish by adding chopped coriander, green chilies, and lemon juice. Stir and serve hot.
