Ingredients
– 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
– 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
– 2 cups shredded cheese (like cheddar)
– 6 slices cooked ham, chopped
– 4 eggs
– 1 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
– Olive oil for brushing
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
2. Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart or pie dish. Make sure it covers the sides.
3. Arrange the asparagus on top of the pastry and sprinkle the chopped ham evenly over it.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the veggies and ham.
5. Sprinkle cheese and parsley on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
