Ingredients
2 cups of all-purpose flour
100 g of unsalted butter, softened
1 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
5. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using, then pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
