Aloo Gajar Matar Sabzi Recipe
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 medium potatoes, diced
2 medium carrots, diced
1 cup green peas, fresh or frozen
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves (optional)
1 cup water
Method
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Stir in the diced potatoes, carrots, and salt. Mix well, then cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and water. Bring to a boil, then cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the green peas and cook for another 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with coriander leaves, if using.
