Ingredients
– 2 large raw mangoes
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
– 1 teaspoon black salt
– 4 cups water
– 1 tablespoon mint leaves (optional)
– Ice cubes (as needed)
– 1 teaspoon lime juice (optional)
Method
1. Begin by boiling the raw mangoes in water for about 15-20 minutes until they are soft.
2. Allow the cooked mangoes to cool, then peel and remove the pulp from the skin and seed.
3. Blend the mango pulp in a blender with sugar, salt, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and lime juice until smooth.
4. Add 4 cups of water to the blended mixture and stir well. Adjust the taste by adding more sugar or salt if needed.
5. Serve in glasses over ice cubes and garnish with mint if desired.
