Ingredients
– 150g dark chocolate, chopped
– 110g unsalted butter
– 2 cups brown sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup chopped pecans
– 60ml bourbon
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan and line it with baking paper.
2. Melt the chopped chocolate and butter together in a large bowl, stirring until smooth.
3. Mix in the brown sugar until fully combined and then add the eggs one at a time.
4. Stir in the flour, chopped pecans, bourbon, salt, and vanilla extract until everything is well-blended.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
