Ingredients

– 1 cup of plain flour
– ½ cup of cold butter, cubed
– ½ cup of sugar
– A pinch of salt

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry and place it into a tart tin. Trim the edges.
3. Toss the diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly in the pastry base.
4. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, sugar, and salt. Add the cold butter, mixing until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden.
