Delicious Ricotta Meatballs With Crispy Topping Recipe

Ingredients

– 500 g ricotta cheese
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 large egg
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 400 ml marinara sauce
– 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 190°C. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on the prepared baking tray.
4. Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes until they are golden brown. The outside should look crispy.
5. Meanwhile, heat up the marinara sauce in a pot. Once the meatballs are done, serve them on top of the sauce and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
