Ingredients
250 ml milk
125 g butter
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup almond flour
4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a round cake pan with butter and line the base with baking paper.
Heat the milk and butter together in a saucepan until melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the cooled milk mixture.
Combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Layer sliced pears on top, then spread the remaining batter over the pears.
