Ingredients
200 g dark chocolate
1 cup cream
1 cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup unsalted butter
½ tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Cocoa powder for dusting
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round cake pan.
Melt dark chocolate and butter in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until combined. Add vanilla extract.
Combine melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture. Slowly fold in flour, baking powder, and salt.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow it to cool before dusting with cocoa powder.
