Ingredients
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 cups of chopped apples
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan to prevent sticking.
2. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and oil. Add the eggs one at a time, blending thoroughly. Stir in the vanilla.
4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
