Ingredients
1 cup warm milk (about 240 ml)
1 packet dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
Warm the milk until it feels lukewarm. Pour it into a mixing bowl and sprinkle the yeast on top. Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the melted butter to the flour mixture. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Pour the milk and yeast mixture into the combined ingredients. Mix everything until it forms a soft dough.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for an hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a baking dish. Place it in the dish, sprinkle with brown sugar and optional nuts. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
