Delicious Apple Sage Sausage Rolls: Air Fryer Recipe Guide

Ingredients

– 500g sausage meat
– 1 apple, peeled and chopped
– 1 onion, finely sliced
– 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
– 1 tablespoon mustard
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar
– 1 package puff pastry (about 400g)
– 1 egg, beaten
– Salt and pepper (to taste)
– Optional: sesame seeds for topping

Method

1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine sausage meat, chopped apple, onion, sage, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
3. Roll out the puff pastry on a clean surface and cut it into rectangles.
4. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto each pastry rectangle and fold over the edges, sealing them.
5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and optionally sprinkle sesame seeds on top before air frying for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
