Crispy Chicken Parmesan Recipe
Ingredients
500 g chicken breasts, sliced thin
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
250 ml marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Prepare three shallow plates. Fill one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the breadcrumb mixture.
4. Coat each chicken slice first in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place on the baking sheet.
5. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top each slice with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese melts.
