Buttermilk Chicken Tenders Recipe

Ingredients
500 ml buttermilk
600 g chicken breast tenders
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Oil for frying

Method
1. Pour the buttermilk into a bowl. Add chicken tenders and make sure they are covered. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
3. Remove each chicken tender from the buttermilk and let the extra liquid drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.
4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated chicken tenders. Fry until golden brown and cooked through. This usually takes about 4 to 6 minutes on each side.
5. Remove the tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
