Ingredients
1 whole chicken (1.5 kg)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon ginger paste
2 teaspoons cumin powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon salt
1 lemon
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Rub the chicken with oil, garlic paste, and ginger paste.
Mix the cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and salt in a bowl.
Spread the spice mixture evenly over the chicken.
Squeeze lemon juice over the top and place in the oven for 1 hour, or until cooked through.
