Ingredients
– 700 g frozen fries
– 400 g beef mince
– 1 teaspoon olive oil
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 400 g canned diced tomatoes
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 170 g shredded cheese
– 1 avocado, sliced
– 1 spring onion, chopped
Method
1. Cook the frozen fries according to the package instructions until they are golden and crispy.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft.
3. Stir in the beef mince and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
4. Pour in the canned diced tomatoes and add the chili powder. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
5. Once the fries are done, place them on a serving plate. Top with the beef mixture, shredded cheese, avocado slices, and chopped spring onion.
