Method
Start by preheating the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
Next, peel the sweet potato and chop it into chunks.
Boil the potato pieces in water until they are tender, then drain and mash.
Combine the mashed sweet potato, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until smooth.
Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the filling is set.
