Brussels Sprouts with Gochujang Butter Recipe
Ingredients
600 g Brussels sprouts
60 g butter
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp sesame oil
Salt, to taste
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut off the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
2. Toss the sprouts with a little oil and salt. Spread them out on a baking sheet. Roast for about 20 to 25 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
3. While the sprouts are baking, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Mix well and heat gently until combined.
4. Remove the roasted Brussels sprouts from the oven. Drizzle the gochujang butter over the hot sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
5. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
