Ingredients
4 cups of stale bread, cut into cubes
2 cups of milk
1 cup of vegetable stock
1 onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup of grated cheese
1 tsp of dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp of olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish
Method
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Stir in stale bread cubes and mix well.
Pour in milk and stock, then add thyme, salt, and pepper.
Cook on low heat for about 15 minutes, then top with cheese and let melt.
