Chocolate Almond Olive Oil Granola Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup dried fruit (raisins or cranberries)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix oats, slivered almonds, salt, and cinnamon together.
3. Combine the maple syrup, olive oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Then pour this mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring to coat everything evenly.
4. Spread the mixture out on the prepared baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
5. Once it’s golden, take it out and let it cool. After that, stir in chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, and dried fruit.
