Ingredients
4 large portobello mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 burger buns
4 slices of cheese
1 cup spinach leaves
1 large tomato, sliced
1 avocado, sliced
Method
Preheat the grill or a pan over medium heat.
Remove the stems from the portobello mushrooms and brush each one with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Cook the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes per side until tender and juicy.
Place cheese slices on top of each mushroom during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the burgers by placing the mushrooms on buns and adding spinach, tomato, and avocado.
