Ingredients
– 4 chicken thighs (bone-in)
– 1 tablespoon chili crisp
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 2 teaspoons honey
– 3 garlic cloves (minced)
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 500 ml chicken broth
– 1 cup cooked rice
– 1 spring onion (sliced)
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
2. Mix chili crisp, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic in a bowl.
3. Rub the mixture onto the chicken thighs, making sure they are well coated.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sear the chicken skin-side down for about 5 minutes.
5. Transfer the chicken to an oven-safe dish, pour in chicken broth, and bake for 30 minutes. Serve with rice, topped with spring onions and sesame seeds.
