Ingredients
– 1 kg beef chuck, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
– 4 medium potatoes, diced
– 3 carrots, sliced
– 3 stalks celery, chopped
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 500 ml beef broth
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Start by placing the beef chunks in the slow cooker.
2. Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped celery, and diced onion into the pot.
3. Mince the garlic and sprinkle over the other ingredients.
4. Pour in the beef broth, then stir in the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until beef is tender.
