Ingredients
– 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 onion, sliced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onion and sauté for about 4 minutes, until softened.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add the chopped cabbage, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well.
5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
